What is Frisson?

Frisson is an extremely emotional and intense feeling some people get while listening to music. From lyrics to a change in tune, Frisson makes your hair stand on end, gives you goosebumps, and in some cases, makes you cry. This feeling is what inspired the name of our magazine.

So what is Frisson Magazine then?

Frisson Magazine was born from a morning epiphany. I had an idea to create a concert magazine made by fans for fans. 3 months later, after learning how to use InDesign, interviewing people and finally sending my magazine to print, Frisson Magazine was born.

Each issue focuses on a headline concert and includes fan interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and upcoming artists. The aim was to bring a piece of the concert experience back home, allowing you to look back on the memories without the storage issues. 

With the idea of making a concert magazine, a huge part of that was highlighting the connection between artists and fans. Each fan base is different, with unique ways of showing their support. Knowing this, we try to capture the individuality of each fan base through interactions and interviews to get a deeper understanding of what the artist means to them.
